Chief Technology Officer (m/w/d)

Hybrid (3 days a week onsite)

Oakwell Hampton are seeking a full-time CTO for a Green Tech company we are partnered with. They are looking for people who want to be part of the sustainable world of tomorrow. They are a rapidly growing start up with a presence in several European Cities already.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the founders to technologically capture and elevate the vision of the software.
• Continuously improve the platform, roll out new features, and enhance their competitive advantage.
• Define strategies and implement new technologies within the company to achieve our business goals.
• Build, lead, and develop one of the best SaaS tech teams in the climate sector.
• Manage the budget and ensure the efficient use of (tech) resources.
• Communicate with all stakeholders throughout the organisation to promote transparency and collaboration.
• Implement and maintain agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban to enable fast and flexible product development.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant work experience with proven success in scaling tech and teams in a high-growth startup.
• In-depth tech knowledge in software development and familiarity with common frameworks in frontend and/or backend.
• Bonus points for experience in the renewable energy space or work experience in fast-paced product company environments
• You constantly push yourself to achieve exceptional performance (professionally and/or personally) and are always ready to go the extra mile.
• You are passionate about making a significant contribution to combating climate change and are ready to take on a new challenge in a small but rapidly growing organisation with a high degree of freedom and uncertainty.
• Fluent in both English and German.
