Job Summary:

Oakwell Hampton are seeking a Tech Lead – Business Intelligence for our client based in Berlin. You will take ownership of all technical aspects of Business Intelligence (BI) within the organisation. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and a passion for designing, implementing, and maintaining best-practice BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all technical Business Intelligence initiatives within the company.
• Manage data collection, integration, warehousing, and transformation processes.
• Provide technical leadership to the BI team, supporting skill development and mentoring team members.
• Be actively involved in complex technical problem-solving and offer hands-on support when needed.
• Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure and data orchestration workflows.
• Ensure data governance, security, integrity, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
• Solid understanding of data modeling; experience with DBT is a plus.
• Experience with code-based ETL technologies, such as Prefect or Airflow.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Passion for PC gaming or PC hardware.
• Ambition to grow into a leadership and team management role.
• Interest in enhancing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in Business Intelligence.
