Job Overview:

Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer ready to make an impact in a dynamic, innovative environment? Oakwell Hampton are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our forward-thinking eCommerce client. You will be helping them design and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure while driving automation processes. This fully remote role requires candidates based in the UK, and candidates must have the right to work without visa sponsorship.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a key player on the DevOps team, you’ll:

• Design and maintain scalable and secure hybrid infrastructures (Windows/Linux) on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with tools like Azure DevOps and ArgoCD.
• Drive configuration management using tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible.
• Monitor system performance using tools like Grafana and Prometheus, ensuring high availability.
• Promote security best practices, ensuring compliance with regulations like GDPR and SOC 2.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge and fostering continuous improvement.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Solid scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance principles.
• A collaborative mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
