What if your work wasn’t just about moving data… but about building the pipelines and platforms that actually power strategic decisions across leading Dutch organisations?

If that sounds interesting then this is the role for you!

I’m working with a specialist Data & BI consultancy that places a strong emphasis on both personal and technical development. They actively invest in structured training programmes , including Data Vault, TOGAF, DAMA DMBOK, and Microsoft Azure (Fabric), to help you accelerate your career and deepen your expertise in modern data platforms.

They are now looking for a Data Engineer to join their growing team to help design and build modern, cloud-based data platforms across top-tier organisations in the Netherlands.

πŸ’‘ What the Data Engineer will be working on:

  • Designing and building scalable data pipelines that integrate data from multiple source systems
  • Transforming, cleansing, and consolidating raw data into structured, analytics-ready datasets
  • Building modern cloud-based data architectures that support enterprise-scale use cases
  • Working with platforms such as AzureAWS, and other cloud environments
  • Developing solutions using DatabricksPySpark, and Spark Structured Streaming
  • Translating functional and non-functional requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Designing and implementing conceptual and dimensional data models
  • Analysing complex source systems and defining optimal data structures
  • Working in Agile, Scrum, and DevOps environments alongside experienced engineering teams
  • Supporting both analytical and operational data use cases across industries

No two assignments are the same β€” and that’s exactly what makes this role so powerful.

🧠 What the successful Data Engineer will need:

  • 5-7 Years experience as a Data Engineer
  • 5+ Years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS also relevant)
  • 3+ Years Experience with modern data tools such as Databricks and PySpark.
  • Fluent Dutch speaker.

At a specialist Dutch data company, they offer more than just a job β€” they offer a career environment built for growth.

  • πŸ’° Strong base salary + attractive bonus
  • πŸš— Lease car
  • πŸ’» Laptop + mobile phone allowance
