Position: WordPress Developer

Location: Stockport (hybrid 2 days in office p/w)

Salary: Up to £30,000

Are you passionate about web development and ready to contribute to the dynamic world of digital marketing? My client is looking for a WordPress Developer and collaborate with the Web Manager and Web Director to enhance their web presence. As a WordPress Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting their clients' website development needs and transforming design concepts into fully functional websites.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively contribute innovative ideas and have a voice in project discussions.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the entire server structure and possess basic problem-solving skills.
• Code designs into fully functional websites, ensuring alignment with provided mock-ups.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate implementation of specifications.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, coding practices, and opportunities for personal development.
• Provide support to clients and the Technical SEO team in web development activities and troubleshooting.

Ideally you will have:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in development (agency setting is a plus)
• In-depth knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML5 (including semantic layout principles), CSS (SASS), and JS/GSAP.
• Strong team player with excellent all-round IT skills.
• Keen interest and understanding of industry trends and movements.
• Familiarity with the current landscape of website coding, including optimization for mobile devices and modern SEO requirements.
