Most account management roles promise strategic customers, growth opportunities and the chance to make an impact. Very few actually deliver it.


I'm currently partnering with a leading Managed Services Provider that has built a significant presence in North America and is now investing heavily in its EMEA growth strategy.


Already recognised as one of the top MSPs in the US, the business supports globally recognised brands, major financial institutions, healthcare organisations and enterprise customers across multiple sectors. As part of their continued investment in Europe, they are now looking for a Dutch-speaking Strategic Account Manager to join their Netherlands team.


This is an opportunity to join a business that has the backing, customer base and infrastructure of an established international organisation, whilst still offering the excitement and visibility that comes with helping shape a growing region.


The Opportunity

You'll inherit a portfolio of approximately 40 existing mid-market and enterprise customers across sectors including healthcare, finance and retail.


Unlike many account management positions, you won't be left to manage everything on your own. You'll work closely with a dedicated Customer Success Manager and two Solution Consultants, giving you the support needed to focus on customer strategy, growth and relationship development.


The role is heavily focused on expanding existing customer relationships, with roughly 70% of your time spent growing and developing current accounts and 30% focused on identifying and creating new opportunities.


You'll be engaging with senior stakeholders including CIOs, IT Directors, CISOs, Finance Directors and C-level executives, helping them solve business challenges through a portfolio of solutions. Security is a particularly exciting area for the business, with significant investment and growth plans already underway.

What They're Looking For

This opportunity is best suited to someone who understands the MSP world and enjoys working in a consultative sales environment.

You'll likely have:

  • 4+ years' experience in Account Management, Strategic Account Management or Enterprise Sales
  • Experience working within an MSP, Managed Services or IT Services business
  • A background selling solutions such as UCaaS, Networking, Cloud, Security or Managed Services
  • Experience managing mid-market or enterprise customers
  • Fluent Dutch and English communication skills
