Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: London

Oakwell Hampton are partnered with a global fintech company who are seeking 2 Senior Software Engineers to join their diverse team (17 different nationalities, multiple previous industry experience). The company aim to provide a seamless, first-class service to their business and personal customer base.

Position Overview:

• Working on a critical business platform as part of a team of engineers
  
• Delivering innovation through software to automate processes that enable the business to operate at scale
  
• Proactive problem solving
• Supporting their production systems

Required Experience:

• Experienced in a functional programming language (Haskell, Scala, Clojure, Elixir, Erlang or Rust)
  
• Fundamental programming skills (data structure, algorithms)
  
• Familiarity developing on Unix/Linux
• CI/CD experience
  
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, BDD, TDD and CI/CD
  
• An interest or experience in Distributed Systems or Event-Driven Architectures
