I’m partnering with a specialist software development company, that are currently using azure to build cutting-edge solutions that elevate the data capabilities of a variety of market leaders in various different industries. They focus on exciting international projects with diverse, high-performing teams, empowering their clients to unlock the full potential of their data.

As a Senior Data Engineer (Azure), you’ll take ownership of complex data engineering solutions and work with cutting-edge Azure technologies to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-performance data pipelines.

The Responsibilities for the Successful Senior Data Engineer:

• Design and implement complex data engineering solutions using Azure technologies.
• Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable data pipelines to support big data processing and analytics.
• Drive technical excellence by helping to shape the architectural direction of data systems and platforms.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and security while supporting clients in unlocking actionable insights from their data.

The Successful Senior Data Engineer will have:

• Extensive experience in Azure technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and other relevant tools.
• Strong proficiency in data engineering principles, with expertise in building scalable, performant, and maintainable data pipelines.
• A deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-based data architectures.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
