Lead Machine Learning Engineer

Their AI-first product is already being used by several top global firms, drastically reducing workloads and providing deeper insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and fine-tune machine learning models: Build, train, and optimize AI models that support key business applications, from NLP-driven insights to adaptive learning algorithms.
• Lead end-to-end ML projects: Oversee the entire ML development lifecycle, including data gathering, feature engineering, model development, and deployment.
• Innovate with LLMs: Research, test, and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of client-facing solutions.
• Collaborate with external partners: Work closely with partners to understand requirements, deliver solutions, and ensure successful integrations of AI-powered systems.
• Contribute to product strategy: Play a pivotal role in shaping product direction and decisions, offering input on technology stacks, model performance, and overall product features.
• Optimize chatbot experiences: Experiment with RLHF techniques to build more intuitive, efficient chatbot interactions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models, particularly in NLP or LLM applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other ML frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently drive projects from start to finish.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with partners and stakeholders.
• NYC-based – this is an in-person role, with a strong preference for candidates who thrive in collaborative, on-site environments.
