London Up to £75,000 + Equity options Permanent

About the Job:

Are you ready to take the lead in a mission-driven environment? I've partnered with a SUPER exciting startup who have a brand new SaaS platform, delivering innovative solutions in urban planning and community engagement, which is powered by AI and needs a dynamic Lead Developer to join their exciting journey as they scale.

What you'll need to be successful...

  • 6+ years of relevant experience, ready to take responsibility for a startup team and support company growth.
  • Strong experience with PHP and any MVC framework.
  • Experience with frontend tech, in particular, experience with modern JS frameworks such as Vue.
  • Track record in small software development teams, preferably within a startup and/or a SaaS-based platform.
  • Coaching or management experience with software developers, project managers, or data scientists.
  • Comfortable collaborating with a small remote/distributed startup team.

Experience with integrating OpenAI/other LLMs and/or a keen interest in AI functionality.

On a day to day, you'll be doing the following:

  • Lead the technical team, overseeing execution and providing direction.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and team to design technical solutions.
  • Full-stack software development and documentation.
  • Oversee technical quality assurance, security, and data protection.
  • Write testable, scalable, and efficient code, leading code reviews.
  • Clearly communicate results, concepts, and progress.
