So, what would you be doing? 

First and foremost, recruitment is all about people. It's about building relationships with companies that need to hire (our clients) and people who are looking for a job (our candidates). While plenty goes in between, that's the crux of it – and the most important part.

As a Digital Marketing or Technology Recruiter at Oakwell Hampton, you'd be responsible for building the connections between our Clients and Candidates. You'd be working with a senior mentor to show you the ropes initially, but once you get the hang of things, your day-to-day would see you:

  • Calling companies to see if they have any open roles that they're struggling to recruit for and letting them know how we can help.
  • Taking thorough job briefs from our clients for their job and understanding what type of person they're looking for to fill the vacancy.
  • Creating job advertisements to promote the role (just like this one) and posting it online to attract people.
  • Reaching out to potential candidates that you think might suit the role to see if they're interested in the opportunity.
  • Managing the interview process for candidates & clients and delivering feedback to both parties.
  • Successfully placing candidates into new jobs and earning yourself some commission.

About you

Recruitment is fast-paced, so you'll need to be comfortable working at speed and spinning multiple plates. We're looking for motivated graduates who are due to graduate in 2024 or have done so in the last two years.
