Founding Platform Engineer

Oakwell Hampton are proud to support a seed backed startup who are looking to reduce costs across Data Warehouse useage.

Founding Engineer - up to $200K + Equity.

Location - San Francisco, Onsite Working.

The company we are supporting are a VC backed Startup whose mission is to reduce compute and monetary costs across Data Warehousing usage. They are developing a platform to optimize and ensure correct routing for data warehouse queries to reduce the overall GPU & costs at the source.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage and scale cloud-native environments using Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and related tooling across public and private clouds.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and environment provisioning to enable fast, repeatable, and reliable software delivery.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking, storage, OS, and high-availability services like PostgreSQL and Redis in production.

Essential Skills:

• Production Kubernetes Experience
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, Ansible
• AWS Experience
• CI/CD

Nice to Haves:

• Python Expeirence
• Data Engineering Experience
