I'm partnering with an innovative software company that's redefining the hospitality sector through smart, data-driven insights. Their powerful data platform enables businesses to track guest behaviour, optimise staffing and purchasing, and turn operational data into real financial impact.

As a Data Engineer, you'll play a central role in building and maintaining high-performance data pipelines that drive critical business decisions — with Python at the core of everything.

🔧 Your Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines using Python and modern data engineering tools
• Collaborate with product and analytics teams to transform raw data into actionable insights
• Take ownership of data architecture and contribute to technical direction
• Ensure high data quality, integrity, and performance across systems
• Work across cloud environments to deploy efficient and maintainable solutions

✅ Your Background:

• Strong experience in Python for data engineering, including use of libraries like Pandas, PySpark, or Dask
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure – any major cloud is a plus)
• Familiarity with data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and pipeline optimisation
• Fluent in Dutch
