Oakwell Hampton are looking for a Buyer to join our clients procurement team and play a key role in sourcing IT hardware and electronic accessories. In this position, you will be responsible for supplier management, price negotiations, and ensuring the availability of high-quality products to support business needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle operational and strategic purchasing of IT hardware and accessories.
  • Obtain and compare supplier offers, leading price and contract negotiations.
  • Identify, select, and manage national and international suppliers.
  • Monitor delivery timelines to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Maintain accurate master data and documentation in the ERP system.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and logistics teams to align procurement with business goals.
  • Analyse the market for new products, pricing trends, and industry developments.


Your Profile

  • A completed commercial apprenticeship or degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Purchasing, or a related field.
  • Initial experience in procurement, ideally in the IT hardware or electronics sector.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
  • A structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a strong ability to work in a team.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
