Back End Developer

Are you a Back-end Developer (Python) with 4+ years of professional experience, who enjoys building secure, scalable software that powers mission-critical applications? Our client is looking for an experienced developer to join their growing engineering team, creating innovative software solutions for leading financial institutions.

Working with well-known organisations, you'll help develop high-quality applications that handle sensitive financial data. Security, reliability and quality are at the heart of everything they build, with ISO and SOC-certified development practices ensuring the highest industry standards.

The Role

As a Back-end Developer, you'll design, develop and maintain the robust services that underpin the company's software platform. You'll be involved throughout the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation through to deployment, optimisation and continuous improvement.

Alongside developing scalable back-end solutions, you'll contribute to improving development processes, enhancing application performance and evaluating new technologies that help keep the business at the forefront of software engineering.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and developing scalable back-end applications and services.
• Building secure, reliable and high-performance software solutions.
• Participating in the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment.
• Optimising application performance and system architecture.
• Identifying opportunities to improve development processes and engineering practices.
• Researching and implementing new technologies where they add value.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for financial services clients.
