Beth joined us after graduating from the University of Manchester with a degree in Psychology. She joined us in September 2021 and was quickly promoted to Junior Consultant and has already built her own network within the Netherlands.

No two days at Oakwell Hampton are the same and you've got to be ready to think on your feet. But here's an example day to give you an idea of what to expect.
☕️ Start your day by heading to the office, setting up your laptop, and grabbing yourself a free tea or coffee.
💬 Meet with your team and manager to go through your current workload and how your sales pipeline is looking for the week.
🤔 Get stuck into candidates – reach out to new people, build rapport, interview people for the jobs you're working, and get feedback on how interviews went.
🍽 Lunchtime – why not go for a walk around town or shopping in the Arndale? We're right in the heart of the city!
🤝 Focus on clients – business development through contacting new and existing clients, booking in interviews for candidates with clients, and building relationships.
🥳 You’ve got a job offer! Now it’s time to close the deal. Call the candidate, share the good news and make sure they're happy with the offer. Then comes the commission.
🥂 Some of the team might even be up for going to a local bar to celebrate!
You've never worked in recruitment before, so we don't expect you to know what you're doing. That's why we've got a structured training programme for new starters and continuous training for all of our employees.
During your first 3 months, you'll receive comprehensive classroom-based theory consisting of 25+ modules covering the whole recruitment process. You'll be up to speed in no time at all.
You will receive daily coaching, mentoring, and training from your team manager. They are there to support you with any skills you want to develop further and answer any questions you may have.
We have coaches who come into the office to deliver sales and recruitment training, as well as personal coaching programs to develop your skills, tactics, and mindset. We want to make sure you have the confidence to reach your goals.

We've got a structured pathway that you can follow, and decide which route you want to take. Each level has clear targets to achieve, so you know exactly what you need to do to be promoted.
